This year has certainly been a whirlwind of events. Over the course of the past year, the Greater Houston Chapter has had many opportunities for networking and socializing in the Engineering realm as well our local and state communities as a whole. This year the Greater Houston Chapter of TSPE received 76 scholarship applications from high school students in and around the Houston area and 30 from Engineering students at the University of Houston. We just finished a very busy month with P.E. Day at the Capitol and Engineers' Week. Houston area honorees are Chad Gordon, P.E., Young Engineer of the Year and Wayne Klotz, P.E., Engineer of the Year. Congratulations to these individuals. P.E.
