The Director of Licensing, Mr. David Howell, P.E. will be speaking to the members of the Greater Houston Chapter of TSPE regarding recent Texas Board of Professional Engineers (TBPE) - Rule Changes. This meeting can be counted for one (1) hour of Ethics as required by the TBPE for Professional Engineer lincense renewal. Mr. Howell will give a brief overview of the recent rule changes and will answer any questions the members might have for the Board.

Biography

David Howell is the Director of Licensing for the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. He has nineteen years of engineering experience working for the state of Texas, three of them with the Board. As the Director of the Licensing Division, he oversees the review of all applications and renewals from engineers seeking to be licensed professional engineers in the State of Texas as well as process of all firm registrations to assure they are in compliance with the board rules. The Licensing Division also implements the continuing education program to ensure that licensed professional engineers meet the required continuing education credits. David has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas, El Paso.
