Dear Potential Sponsor,
This year, the Greater Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) is seeking potential sponsors at the beginning of our fiscal year to provide more awareness as well as more visibility for our sponsors at all events throughout the year. The Greater Houston Chapter has traditionally held two fundraising events during the year; a fall golf tournament and Spring BBQ luncheon. The fall golf tournament will be held at WindRose Golf Club and is scheduled for Friday, September 30, 2011. The Spring BBQ luncheon will be celebrated with the monthly meeting on June 12, 2012. More details regarding all events will be published on our website (www.tspehouston.org) as they become available. Your sponsorship of these events and of the Greater Houston Chapter will provide funding for our Scholarship, MATHCOUNTS, Future City and other student outreach programs.
TSPE was created in 1936 to serve the interests of the individual engineer in all branches of engineering in the state of Texas. Our mission is to promote the ethical, competent and licensed practice of engineering, and to enhance the professional, social and economic well being of our members through networking opportunities, political action at the state and local levels, and student outreach. The Greater Houston Chapter of TSPE supports local engineers in many ways, including practical/hands-on leadership training, educational seminars (PDH hours), student outreach and involvement with government officials at P.E. Day at the Capital.
As an annual sponsor, your logo will be displayed on our website and on all sponsor boards at our events. Your support of the Chapter will help us to promote the importance of engineering, present and future, to students of all ages. Please thoughtfully consider the sponsorship levels, as enclosed. If your company’s fiscal year does not coincide, we will happily provide another request in December. However, this is the one fundraising letter for all TSPE events for the 2011-2012 year.
Sincerely,
Edwin C. Friedrichs, P.E.
